Blenheim Palace Christmas Market

Blenheim Palace is surrounded by over 90 acres of formal gardens making a romantic setting and ideal background for your special wedding day, although even on a cold December day the setting still looked beautiful for its Christmas Market which Mr Cupcake & I attended last weekend.

Walking up through the first archway we were greeted with Christmas music, a carousel and fabulous smells of Christmas food. Once into the main part of the grounds, lit Christmas trees adorned each archway and fairy lights were sparkling on the main entrance.

There were lots of stalls with a mixed variety of goods including Christmas cheeses, flavoured gins and vodka’s, beautiful handcrafted chocolates and fudges & Christmas puddings to name a few.

There were also stalls with lots of unique ideas for Christmas presents such as handmade jewellery handcrafted wooden sculptures and glassware.

One of our favourite stalls was the dried fruits where they had made a display of Father Christmas and a Reindeer; very clever!

All in all it was a great day with lots to see in beautiful surroundings
